Education Hour each Sunday from 9:45 to 10:45 (except during the summer) for all ages.
Nursery is open during Sunday services and the education hour, providing professionally supervised child care for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old.
Sunday School Theme for 2011-2012: Just Jesus
This year we will be focusing on the life and ministry of Jesus. We will also be learning about what it means to have Jesus in our lives today and how we are a part of the Body of Christ! The year will lead up to our Vacation Bible School next summer: Hometown Nazareth. Last year our students learned the Old Testament portion of our ―Walk Through the Bible, so this year we will learn a New Testament ―Walk Through the Bible.

Parents, You are invited to Spark Online!
Spark Online makes it easy to stay connected to the lessons your children are learning each week in Sunday school. Along with your Fall Sunday School registration materials there is a Spark letter explaining how to create a Spark online account. This will allow you to receive information about your child’s lessons and view Spark Family Pages. Join us September 18 at 9:45am for our first Parent’s Sunday School event and learn more about Spark Online and what lessons your child is learning!
Vacation Bible School is a four-day day camp each summer for children who have finished 3-year old pre-school through those entering 5th grade. This year’s VBS is held together with Park Ridge United Methodist Church and the Community Church of Park ridge. Come on Wednesday (COW) Your family is invited to join our church family for dinner every Wednesday evening.
Dinner is served continuously between 5:15 and 7:00. The cost is $6 per person 6th grade and older; $5 per person children up to 5th grade and seniors; $20 per family.
The evening includes choir rehearsals for the children, fellowship and educational opportunities for the adults.
Note: The schedule will change for Ash Wednesday and HOLY COW during Lent.
