In Our Library

The St. Luke’s Dokmo Memorial Library is open to all members of our congregation. We provide resources for children and adults that strengthen the educational work of the congregation, increase understanding of our faith, enrich our worship life, provide information on social issues and deepen our relationship with Jesus Christ.

The Dokmo Library is open Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings.

Bring your coffee and spend some time in the Library.  You will find treasures that you did not know were there and that you find nowhere else.  Take home a good book today! We have something for everyone: good fiction, inspirational literature, devotional books, self-help books and books that deal with issues of our time.  We have books for children, teens as well as adults,  We have reference books and hymnals.  We also have archival materials.

 

NEWS FROM THE LIBRARY:

Come join us at the Library Open House during the Adult Forum hour, between the services, on May 20.  Discover what’s new and exciting in our resources and services.  Learn how to find and check out a book or other item of interest to you.  It’s a cosy comfortable space with lot’s of reading opportunities.

The Christopher Churchmouse Classics help children learn about Christian living. Christopher Churchmouse unwittingly instructs his listeners as they run, skate, and bounce along with him on his adventures. His stories delight and instruct children in the lessons of friendship, responsibility, and more. Check out The White Trail, Saved by the Bell, A Sunday Surprise, and three other titles in this delightful scripture-based collection.
