VOLUNTEER POSITIONS:

Adult Education. Are you interested in helping to develop the Adult Education program at St. Luke’s?  We need people who have ideas to share with us for both the Sunday morning Adult Forum and the Wednesday evening  study.  Please contact Mary Jane Jaffee for more information.

Facebook Administrator. Are you a Facebook enthusiast?
St. Luke’s has a Facebook presence, but we need someone who could provide inspiration and time to develop and administer it.  There is also a St. Luke’s Youth Facebook Page which is currently looking for an editor. Please contact Paul Edison-Swift for more information.

Sunday Service Greeters. Do you want to serve the church but don’t have a lot of time to commit? Greeting at the Sunday worship service is a great way to meet the congregation, serve the church and put a smile on people’s faces. Greeters are needed for both services. Greeters arrive 15-20 minutes prior to the service, stand at the door and welcome incoming members and visitors. For the youth of the congregation, this is a great opportunity to acquire service points! To sign up, please contact Catherine Cassarella at 847-823-1767 or Carolynn Joesten. Thank you.

Church Set-ups. Craig Moen has been doing an outstanding job with church setups this year; we truly appreciate all he has done. We need to involve others in the process to keep serving all the activities that occur. Craig has documented the setups required to meet the many different types of meetings and uses of our building. Multiple hands will lighten the load. If you are willing to support this effort, please contact Joel Kwasigroch or at 847-823-1056. Thank you.

Calling all Carpenters! If you would like to use your carpentry skills to help us complete our building project, please step up now! We need to install some shelves and paper towel dispensers in the new kitchen, mount a coat rack in the art room, mount some cabinets in a few of the remodeled classrooms and some other assorted projects that continue to come to our attention. We need to get this work done by Labor Day, if we are to have everything ready for the new school year. If you are able to help us, please contact Jim Henderson by phone at 847/823-1828 or by e-mail.  Thank you for sharing your skills with us.
