Friday, April 25, 2008 at 7:30 p.m. Appetizers and Conversation: Enjoy cocktails and appetizers at the homes of Erik and Evelyn Carlson, John and Claranne English, or Garry and Candy Gustafson. Because our hosts’ generosity exceeds their available space, attendance at these events will be quite limited. But don’t worry if you can’t attend one of these events. There will be lots of other opportunities to connect with the congregation. Read on! (R.S.V.P. directly to the host family.)

Saturday, May 3 at 10:00 a.m. Gear Up for Golf: Get into the swing of golf season with the help of a pro! Join us at the Woodland Trails Driving Range, 1500 Euclid Road in Prospect Heights, for some putting, driving and tips from Norm Duncan on how to improve your swing. We’ll supply the coffee, doughnuts and advice. You supply the golfers (ages 10 and up are welcome with an adult), enthusiasm and finesse! (R.S.V.P. to StLukesGrowingInFaith@gmail.com .)

Enjoy a cup of gourmet coffee or tea, delicious baked goods and some adult conversation (and we promise the only hands you’ll have to wipe will be your own!) (No R.S.V.P. necessary.)

Sunday, May 4 at 4:00 p.m. Family Bingo, Pizza, and Open Gym: Not ready for café society? Then bring the whole family to Fox Hall later in the day for bingo, pizza and open gym. Saturday, May 10 at 4:00 p.m. Bottle Band Concert: The space is limited, but the music is not: a concert by our very own Bottle Band! Pick them up at St. Luke's beginning April 20.

Tuesday, May 13 at 12:00 p.m. Luncheon: Want to have a luncheon with a whole group of your St. Luke’s friends without having to shop, cook or clean up? Then join us in Fox Hall for a great meal and even better conversation. We hope to see you there! (R.S.V.P. to StLukesGrowingInFaith@gmail.com )

Thursday, May 15 at 7:00 p.m. Ice Cream Social Jazz Night: If you don’t want a meal, but can’t pass up dessert, then hit the Fox Hall ice cream social! Create an awesome sundae and then enjoy it while hearing about the National Youth Gathering or listening to the mellow sounds of Lee Burswold’s jazz piano. How sweet it is! (R.S.V.P. to StLukesGrowingInFaith@gmail.com .)
