Saint Paul Window

Saint Paul is the Great Missionary. Saint Paul Says, “Take the Sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God” Ephesians 6:17 What scenes from his life are depicted in this window? See below!

(L) Saint Paul is the great missionary Paul travels from town to town throughout the Roman Empire spreading the good news of Christ to the Gentiles as well as to the Jews. Much of the New Testament consists of his letters to the churches he has established.

(L) Conversion of Saul Christ appears to Saul on the road to Damascus. “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?” He asked, “Who are you, Lord?” The reply came, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.” Acts 9:1-19

(R) The Cross and Orb represent Christ’s authority over the world. Paul is the first to take the Gospel to the Gentiles, insisting that the salvation through Christ is available for all.

(R) The Word of God is the Sword of the Spirit.”Take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.” Ephesians 6:17
