Abraham Window

Time after time God makes Covenants with his people. Time after time God promises to be with each one of us too. Which other covenants are represented in the window? See below!

(L) Covenant with Abraham. Abraham, your descendents will be as many as the stars. “And he believed the Lord; and the Lord reckoned it to him as righteousness.” Genesis 15:5-6 and Hebrews 6:13

(L) Covenant with Abraham. Abraham welcomes the visitors to his tent and is promised that he and Sarah will have a son. “My lord, if I find favor with you, do not pass by your servant.” Genesis 18:1-15 or the Covenant with the Israelites, when the Lord tells them that he will abide in the Tabernacle (tent) as they journey in the Wilderness.“I will dwell among the Israelites, and I will be their God. And they shall know that I am the Lord their God, who brought them out of the land of Egypt that I might dwell among them; I am the Lord their God.” Exodus 29:45-46

(R) Covenant with Adam. God gives Adam a home in the Garden of Eden. “You may freely eat of every tree of the garden; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall die.” Genesis 2:16-17,  Hosea 6:6-7

(R) Covenant with Noah. God will not destroy the earth. “I will remember my covenant that is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall never again become a flood to destroy all flesh.” Genesis 9:15-17
