Adult Forum on Sunday mornings at 9:45 offers a variety of social and inspirational topics: This fall they will be looking at Social Statements that have been approved by the ELCA as well as exploring the rich traditions of other faiths. Follow the link to see some of the topics.
Wednesday Evening Adult Bible Study. The book for this series is entitled A Grace Disguised: How the Soul Grows through Loss. Beginning Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. in the Conference Room. Copies of the book can be found in the atrium. The cost of the book is $10.00.
Thursday Mornings at 9:30 a.m. The group will read and discuss the Scripture lessons for the upcoming Sunday’s service with Pastor Johnson.
Bible Study on alternate Saturday mornings especially for the men of the congregation. Check calendar.
From time to time members and friends are invited to participate in trips abroad: St. Luke’s friends traveled to Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong in 2017. They learned how people, who live in two very multi-ethnic and multi-religious cultures, strive to live in harmony with each other and thrive in a modern high tech world. Tour Martin Luther’s Legacy in Germany with St. Luke’s friends October 8-19, 2018. An informational meeting will be held Sunday, November 12, at 12:30 p.m. Enjoy a light lunch while you learn more about the tour, view a power point of places you will visit, and have an opportunity to ask questions. In 2019 A trip is planned to Holden Village in The Cascade Mountains of Washington State.
