Sunday Night Suppers

Volunteers needed for Sunday Night Suppers
Sunday Night Suppers is a Park Ridge ministry supported by local churches and organizations that provides free meals and fellowship to our neighbors in need each Sunday from September through May. This year, the suppers will be held at First United Methodist Church, with St. Luke’s and St. Andrews as co-hosts. St. Luke’s teams will serve as hosts (on-site coordinators) for nine Sundays and as sponsors (providing and serving the meal) for four of those Sundays.

We are seeking volunteers to support this wonderful ministry:

• First, we need 2 host teams of 3 people each to serve on site in roles such as Greeter, Kitchen Lead, or Dining Lead and oversee the volunteers from the sponsoring organizations. These teams will be trained in advance and must be able to commit to 4 – 5 of our assigned hosting dates, starting in October.
• We also will need 10 – 12 people to serve the catered meal on each of two dates–December 14 and May 3. Spots are available to sign up in advance for one or both. This is a one-time commitment with no advanced training required.
