Epiphany Season

Epiphany is the season of Christ revealed, light for the world, good news that keeps showing up in unexpected places and people. This Sunday we will celebrate that joy together with an all-church (yes, that means you!) Epiphany pageant at 9:30 am in Henderson Hall.

Worship also resumes this Sunday at 8:30 am and 10:45 am. Come for the pageant, come for worship, come for both. However you arrive, may the light of Christ meet you and guide you into the week ahead.

In Christ’s peace,
Pastor Kyle

Clothing Drive

2025/2026 Winter Wear and Clothing Drive for Open Arms Ministry and San Timoteo Lutheran Church in Chicago

Open Arms Ministry-Logan Square and San Timoteo Lutheran Church in the Hermosa neighborhood have both reached out to us for help again this year. They have a large demand to distribute winter wear and with the weather getting colder the need is now. Please bring your donations of gently used or new winter coats, winter hats, gloves, scarves, and snow pants for men, women, and children of all ages to St. Luke’s. Additionally, Open Arms has requested donations of jeans and San Timoteo is interested in all clothing for adults/teens (sizes Medium and Small, not L or XL) and children (all sizes, with a focus on pants for boys). A collection box will be available in the Atrium now through mid-January.

Don’t forget to ask your friends and neighbors, in addition to looking through your own closets, so we may share the warmth with our neighbors sooner than later. If you have questions, feel free to contact Todd Raeder, from the Social Ministry Team or Gail Larson / Sue Weber, from the Global Links Team.
