Faithful Families Conversation Series Wednesdays August 18, 25, September 1, 8 and 15 at 6:30-7:30 PM via Zoom
Martin Luther is often quoted as saying that the most important persons in the development of one’s faith are not clergy, but parents. Parents of the key for children to develop a “sticky faith”— a faith that sticks beyond the time they live at home.
This five-week conversational series utilizes the research of the Fuller Youth Institute as their whole mission is looking for keys that help support, develop and inspire children with sticky faith. These conversations are ideal for parents with children 8-18 but would be of value to parents with students younger, older or who have grandchildren. Come and join us!
- August 18 – “Why” – Why talk about parenting? Because 1 in 2 kids drift from God after High School.
- August 25 – “Mirror” – What happened when I see things in my kids I don’t like?
- September 1 – “Warm” – How can I create a safe place to connect with my kids?
- September 8 – “Spark” – How do I create a flourishing connection with my kids?
- September 15 – “Plan” – What do I do next?
