Sunday Night Suppers
This shared ministry among congregations and organizations in Park Ridge has been offering a free community hot meal on Sunday evenings since 2007.
St. Luke’s is a co-sponsor for the 2026-2027 season along with First United Methodist Church of Park Ridge and St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church. Meals are served every Sunday at 4:00 at First UMC at 418 West Touhy Avenue from September through May.
How to Get Involved with Sunday Night Suppers
St. Luke’s offers two types of volunteer opportunities:
- Host team volunteers rotate to cover 10 designated Sundays throughout the year to serve as onsite coordinators to support the volunteer serving teams from other churches and organizations in set-up, serving, and clean-up. Training and instructions are available. We need 12 – 15 repeat volunteers who are able to commit to 2 – 3 Sundays each. Learn more here and sign up here.
- Serving team volunteers help serve the catered meal on one of the Sundays St. Luke’s is providing the meal. This is a one-time commitment with no training or experience necessary. Learn more here and sign up here.
Please contact Vicki Loise or Tricia Mohl with questions.
