FROM THE PASTOR
St. Luke’s Day
Dear church,
This Sunday we observe St. Luke’s Day, and we have so much to celebrate as a congregation bearing the name of this evangelist, physician, artist, and storyteller of God’s love!
It promises to be a particularly joyful morning… numerous reminders named below that our congregation is a living community of faith.
As we prepare to celebrate, I invite you to think about someone in your life who might appreciate an invitation to worship. Perhaps a friend, a neighbor, a colleague, or someone you haven’t seen at church in a while. A simple, personal invitation can mean more than we realize. After all, the good news Luke proclaims is meant to be shared, and sometimes that sharing begins with something as ordinary as saying, “Would you like to come with me?” I’ll meet you in the parking lot…we can go to brunch afterwards!
See you in worship,
Pastor Kyle
