Disney Devotions: Encanto & Faith
Hello St. Luke’s Families,
Have you met the family Madrigal? Are your kids humming, “We don’t talk about Bruno?”
Below you will find a new Bible study series featuring the Disney movie, Encanto. Movies often bring to surface themes, trends or ideas that are happening all around us. I invite you into Encanto with a lens toward to the Bible and how these two relate.
If you have not already seen the movie, I invite you to do so. Each study pertains to an individual character, lyrics to the song that reveals most about them called their “heart song” in this study and scripture. These themes are then put alongside the bible to help us see how God’s word is shared with us through these characters. I look forward to hearing how these go with your family in anticipation of creating additional Disney Devotions moving forward. Watch your email each week for the release of more characters.
