Turkey Drive

GOBBLE – GOBBLE
Return of the St Luke’s Turkey Drive
November 15th 2026 8:15 – 11:45 AM

We have some BIG changes to announce that St. Luke’s is working with a new Food Pantry in Logan Square to collect and deliver Turkeys.

The Community Food Pantry and Closet (sponsored by New Community Covenant Church) Community Food Pantry has taken over the program previously run by Open Arms Ministry. All new people, new staff and new policies/procedures.

Meet the Organ

On the fourth Sunday of the month, all are welcome to meet the St. Luke’s Goulding & Wood organ (and the organist, too!). Come up to the organ side of the chancel during the postlude and stay afterwards to ask questions and try out the organ yourself. Kids are always welcome! The first Meet the Organ will be after the second service on Sunday, October 25th.

Rooted & Reaching

Dear church,
This week, we kick off our annual generosity appeal, Rooted and Reaching!

This year’s appeal invites us to consider how we can deepen our roots through faithful pastoral leadership, strengthen our community through staffing and hospitality, and extend our reach by building new relationships and welcoming others into our life together.

I am grateful for the many ways your generosity continues to bear fruit. In the weeks ahead, I invite you to prayerfully consider how God is calling us to grow, together, Rooted and Reaching!

See you in worship,
Pastor Kyle

Christians of the Holy Land

On October 25, 2026, we will hear about the Christians of the Holy Land, and be hosting a nice display of olive wood religious handicrafts from Bethlehem available for donations. The olivewood carvings include Nativity sets, crosses, Christmas ornaments, candle holders, angels and others. They are carved by Christian families from Bethlehem who rely on their crafts for their daily bread.
