School is just around the corner! It is time to assemble backpacks for students in foster care served by Lutheran Social Services of Illinois!
Men’s Barbecue
On Wednesday, July 13 at 5:30 p.m., all men of the congregation are invited to join us for a barbecue. Bring your friends and a lawn chair for an evening of fellowship and conversation. A dinner of pulled pork and trimmings will be served at 6:30 p.m. We will meet at the front of the church. In case of rain, we will move to Henderson Hall. Please RSVP to Tim McCurry or Jim Beyreis. Organ Recital
Sunday, July 17 at 3:00 p.m. You are invited to attend an organ recital given by Ethan Mellema on our Goulding & Wood organ. Lutheran Summer Music
Director of Music Anne Krentz Organ will teach composition and serve on the worship team for Lutheran Summer Music (LSM), the nation’s premier faith-based music academy for high school students.

Sign up starting Sunday, June 5, and read books of your choice (or have someone read to you) from our St. Luke’s Library. When you return a book to the return basket, check out another and keep reading!

Summer Worship
Summer is coming, but church doesn’t stop! Memorial Day through Labor Day we move to one service at 10 a.m. “Second Sundays at St. Luke’s” planning is underway with an outdoor service (weather permitting) and a variety of other activities during the summer.
